Here are a few more things that we would like to inform you

Cancellation Policies

  • Full payment is required at the time of reservation.

  • Cancellations or changes made more than 6 weeks prior to check-in:
    A full refund will be provided.

  • Cancellations or changes made between 2 and 6 weeks prior to check-in:
    50% of the total payment will be refunded, and the remaining 50% will be retained.

  • Cancellations or changes made within 2 weeks of check-in:
    No refund will be provided

Day Visitors Policy

  • Day visitors are permitted only with the owner's prior approval.

  • A fee of $50 per visitor per day will apply.

  • Day visitors are not permitted to stay overnight.

  • Pets accompanying day visitors are not permitted.

  • The owner reserves the right to limit the number of day visitors to ensure compliance with the property's maximum occupancy limits.

Other Important Info

Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Please be considerate of other guests by keeping conversations, music, and radio volumes to a minimum during these hours.

Fire Rules (Township of Muskoka Lakes)

  • No open-air burning is permitted during daytime hours.

  • Fires may be enjoyed in the designated fire pit after sunset (typically after 5:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m., depending on the season).

  • If a fire ban is in effect, all outdoor fires are strictly prohibited, regardless of the time of day.

Water Supply

  • The water at Black Lake Cabins is sourced from a private well and is regularly tested to ensure it is safe for drinking.

  • If you prefer not to drink tap water, you are welcome to bring bottled water or boil the water before consumption.

 

Pet Policy

  • We welcome one pet per cabin, subject to a $50 pet cleaning fee.

  • For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, please:

    • Keep your dog on a leash in shared or common areas.

    • Clean up after your pet at all times.

    • Keep pets off beds and furniture.

    • Use the designated swimming area on the left side of the dock if your dog would like to enter the water.

    • Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pets.

 

Children's Safety

  • Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

  • Please note that the lake, beach, dock, and playground areas are unsupervised. Children should never swim alone and must always be accompanied by a responsible adult when near or in the water.
